Fettuccine Alfredo Oats

  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • flax (optional)
  • Ricotta cheese

Soak the oats overnight or microwave them in the water for a couple minutes to make them creamy. You can skip this step if you like. Bring the oats/water to a boil in a small pot, then stir in the milk. Throw in a pinch of salt and a generous amount of fresh ground black pepper. The pepper is key here; the more pepper, the more alfredo-y the taste! Sprinkle in a tablespoon or so of flax (optional). Last but not least, when the oats are almost done, stir in a tablespoon of Ricotta cheese. Stir until dissolved and immediately pour into serving dish/dishes. Enjoy!
